CSEngineering is looking to add Systems Engineers Enterprise Level (Senior through SME level) to our growing team! The positions will support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command in the development and design of enterprise architecture, engineering, and technical solutions. Integrate Commercial Cloud Services solution for the applications and software defined networking and storage capabilities, applications, and systems operating in these cloud constructs and environments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Outlined below are the critical responsibilities for this position:

• Senior: Highly organized individual with strong interpersonal skills who can engage with clients at various levels to perform the following tasks:

• Leads the creation of project architecture consisting of open source, COTS and/or GOTS software services solution capable of operating in global environments.

• Manages the development and design, and advises on Enterprise architecture, engineering, and technical solutions and innovations to maximize the operational availability of network infrastructure.

• Directs the team in developing open-source standard architecture with web services and mobile applications capable of geospatially rendering, visualizing, and searching connected data repositories. Integrate Commercial Cloud Services solution for the applications and software-defined networking and storage capabilities, applications, and systems operating in these cloud constructs and environments.

• SME: Highly organized individual with strong interpersonal skills who can engage with clients at various levels and initiate and develop requirements for this project. Provides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff for the following tasks:

• Provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission-critical challenges/issues.

• Consult with client to define need or problem supervise studies and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions. Create a project architecture consisting of open source, COTS and/or GOTS software services solution capable of operating in global environments.

• Develop, design and advise on Enterprise architecture, engineering, and technical solutions and innovations to maximize the operational availability of network infrastructure.

• Provide open-source standard architecture with web services and mobile applications capable of geospatially rendering, visualizing, and searching connected data repositories. Integrate Commercial Cloud Services solutions for the applications and software-defined networking and storage capabilities, applications, and systems operating in these cloud constructs and environments.

• For both Senior & SME:

• Oversee integration of new data sources to provide no major disruption to the architecture through each development cycle.

• Manage bandwidth to support users at remote sites as active nodes within the project architecture.

• Researches and advises on the selection of technologies to include within the enterprise architecture (EA).

• Provides analyses of potential changes to the EA. Conducts reviews and analyses of architectures to ensure compliance with EA policy.

• Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes and procedures to ensure EA policy compliance or to improve the EA.

• Coordinates and collaborates with subject matter expert and other architects to reflect reengineered business processes into the EA.

• Defines, develops, and provides expertise and guidance on EA processes, policies, roles and responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Security Clearance: Current Top Secret or TS/SCI or TS/SCI eligible

10+ years (Senior) or 15+ years (SME) of experience developing Enterprise Level Specifications and Standards and performing the following:

• Open source, COTS and/or GOTS software services solutions in Enterprise architecture, engineering, and technical solutions and innovations to maximize the operational availability of network infrastructure.

• Networking and storage capabilities, applications, and systems operating in cloud constructs and environments.

• Integration of new data sources within the project architecture.

• Research enterprise architecture (EA) tools and technologies to ensure compliance with EA policy.

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, including Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.

Preferred Certifications and Qualifications:

• Specialized training or certifications in network, cloud, research and analysis, and enterprise architecture.
