Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking to hire a Systems Engineer in Burbank, CA. In the role, you will use structured processes to develop systems for high reliability aerospace products.
Collaborate effectively with technical staff and all functional groups to develop or test safety critical embedded systems.
Develop and ensure full traceability of customer specification requirements to system requirements.
Prepare technical documentation necessary to satisfy customer and program requirements.
BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent) from a four-year college or university.
GPA, minimum accepted 3.1 on a 4.0 scale.
Understand Systems Engineering principles, including interpreting and writing requirements, system architectures and designs.
Familiarity with modeling and simulation (ie. Simulink) a plus.
Should be self-directed/motivated, and work and communicate well within a team that consists of several engineering disciplines.
Use effective English communication in presentations, analyses, and reports.
Project-oriented and be able to multi-task.
