  • Possess and maintain basic knowledge of network and server environments including (but not limited to) Server Operating Systems, Virtualization Technology, E-Mail platforms, Cloud Services, Networking and Security.
  • Perform administrative duties including but not limited to logging hours, maintaining customer documentation, and using company-approved data entry system.
  • Communicate with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
  • Exercises independent judgment in the interest of the company as a substantial part of the work day
  • Provide input on technical processes for internal and external use
  • Obtain training and certifications to further goals of self and the company.
  • Provide ideas/insights as to new products or services that the company can offer its clients.
  • Perform after hours customer support as required.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in IT Engineering
  • Experience with Active Directory administration
  • Experience with current Microsoft desktop OS & apps
  • Experience with basic switching and routing configurations
  • Exposure to Windows server operating systems
  • Professional Certification (A+, MCP, Network+, Security+)

These activities span the Engineering Product Development Lifecycle from Capture & Proposal through Operational Support. Primary Responsibilities: * Lead meetings - ensure the right stakeholders are invited, clear objectives are established with a clear agenda, minutes & actions are taken * Work across the projects to drive a more disciplined approach of action item management and tracking * Work with teams to develop Level 3 schedules in MS Project and assess and manage critical path * Set up and maintain a risk and opportunity management process for specific projects / programs * Manage projects / tasks that are assigned to own - this may include Coordinating and support dev and/or the certification testing for various components * Lead or support Root Cause & Corrective Action investigations * Participate in meetings at the working level, senior management level, as well as get exposure to executive level meetings. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations * Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience or * In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required * Able to travel up to 10% domestically as needed * Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder Preferred Qualifications: * Aerospace experience * Project Engineering or Program Management experience Ability to organize complex data to drive business priorities Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
