Responsible for the planning and engineering of systems infrastructure. Includes the implementation and design of hardware, software and IP-based telephone systems for the enterprise. Responsible for ensuring the secure, stable, and optimal operation of company's systems.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must have extensive experience implementing, deploying, customizing and supporting VMware

  • Must have strong and proven track recorder in infrastructure InfoSec

  • Required ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple business units within a time sensitive environment

  • Configures, maintains and designs Active Directory: Group Policies, security groups, users & computers, and organizational units

  • Maintains, configures and plans Windows Server 2012/2016, Microsoft Exchange 2010/2016, Office 365 and SharePoint Online

  • Plans, configures, manages, monitors, and supports SAN fabric design, zoning, optimization, and fault-tolerance

  • Manage, monitor and partner on all installed systems and infrastructure

  • Provides technical direction, roadmap designs, installations, and configurations of all infrastructure requirements

  • Provides day-to-day support and performs independent complex system troubleshooting

  • Provide technical direction to IT support staff

  • Recommends, schedules, and performs software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations, and/or purchases

  • Should be able to Develop, document, and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration

  • Designs, documents, plans, implements, monitors, and supports enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions

  • Ensures the integrity and security of enterprise data in accordance to business needs and industry best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, demanding environment where each day provides a new set of challenges under short time constraints involving complex network/server configurations and/or troubleshooting requirements

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Requires non-standard hours during maintenance and support windows

  • Ability to travel as required and must have a valid driver's license

Supervisory Responsibilities:



  • 5+ years of experience designing, configuring, and maintaining virtual environments w/VMware
  • 5+ years of experience designing, configuring, and implementing IT Systems
  • 3-5+ year of experience with SAN management
  • 2 years of experience with enterprise-class VoIP networks

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • VMware certification preferred

  • Microsoft certification preferred

  • Security+ preferred

  • CCNA, CCNA-Voice, CCNP-Voice Certifications desired

Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:

Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. May be subject to repetitive motion such as typing, data entry and vision to monitor. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required Esstential Duties and Responsibilities: * Provides technical solutions and configuration design expertise to customers and sales on specified product line(s). Uses independent judgement and discretion in making solution recommendations.
