Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across data centers and offices in different regions.

  • Perform network monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.

  • Liaise with local support teams, vendors to execute tasks and projects.

  • Contribute to the end-to-end delivery of projects, staging, installation, and asset lifecycle management.

  • Facilitate the end-to-end delivery of IT solutions from ideation, cost estimation, and requirements gathering through to deployment and support.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with business contacts to ensure problem resolution and facilitate system change management.

  • Ensure all applicable corporate IT standard processes and procedures are followed.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement to strive towards operational excellence.

  • Design, implement, and maintain Windows server infrastructure

  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS services.

  • Deploy and maintain virtualization technologies such as VMware (95%) and Hyper-V (5%)

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Windows server administration.

  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks.

  • Respond to security incidents in a timely manner

  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into system designs and implementations

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies

  • Install, configure, and maintain Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop in VMware environments

  • Optimize virtual desktop and application delivery for performance, scalability, and availability

  • Configure and manage Citrix NetScaler for load balancing, application delivery, and remote access

  • Monitor and troubleshoot Citrix infrastructure to ensure uptime and performance

  • Implement and manage Citrix policies, profiles, and security controls

  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience may be considered

  • 5+ years of experience in Windows server administration

  • Strong proficiency in Windows Server operating systems (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022)

  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS

  • 5+ years of experience in VMware virtualization administration

  • Strong proficiency in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server

  • Experience with VMware networking and storage technologies

  • Knowledge of virtualization best practices and performance optimization techniques

  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Technical Certifications such as MCSE or VCP are a plus

  • 3+ years of experience in Citrix administration

  • Experience with Citrix NetScaler for load balancing and remote access

  • Knowledge of HIPAA best practices and compliance standards

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience in the HealthCare Industry preferred

  • Experience in cloud migration (Google or Azure) is plus but not required

  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure, or Google is plus but not required

Salary and Other Compensation:

This position is accepting application until: 07/16/2024

The annual salary for this position is between [$52,000] - [$120,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
