Job Description:

CACI is seeking a Systems Engineer with experience in Joint program planning, technical, and management disciplines. Candidate shall have extensive background in Surface Navy developmental and acquisition programs including AEGIS, AEGIS Ballistic Missile Defense, Navy Integrated Fire Control- Counter Air (NIFC-CA), Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense, Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC), and Standard Missile programs.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems.

  • Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

  • Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

  • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • BS or equivalent + 9 yrs related experience, or MS + 7 yrs related experience

Coordinates closely with the customer. Also, may perform sustainment activities such as assisting with Command Inspections (CCRI) and annual security audits. Because most of the validation work performed is in support of classified systems and requires monitoring that can only be done with the customer in a controlled environment, all Validators must work on-site at NSWCDD. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to) * Collecting, organizing, summarizing, and reporting on various IT data sets * Utilize familiarity and understanding of all subject areas in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance to execute requested actions * Implement knowledge of Navy RDT&E, Business Systems, Platform Information Technology (PIT) and other Infrastructures * Perform actions in accordance with recent Navy A&A policy and guidance * Evaluate hardware/software functional requirements * Develop documentation, prepare final deliverable reports REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Meet or exceed IAM/IAT Level II requirements in accordance with DoD 8570.01m. IA baseline certification within 6 months (i.e. A+, Network +, CCNA Security) * On the job training/experience * Maintaining Continuing Education (CE) credits * Six (6) years of related practical experience in Cybersecurity, Engineering Test and Evaluation (T&E), or A&A related field * Three (3) year of Navy specific experience working with C&A and/or A&A Packages * Knowledge of eMASS and ACAS * Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and experience with Interim Authority to Test (IATT), DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and Platform Information Technology (PIT) Systems * Experience performing validator type activities * Active Secret (or higher) clearance is required * Excellent communication skills – both oral and written PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) designation III preferred.
