Join the exciting world of Boeing Space and Launch program. The Boeing Company is looking for a Systems Engineer. The Systems Engineer for the Ground Satellite System Programs will be supporting proprietary ground system development programs.
Tasking includes full life-cycle development, integration and test.
Provides a system engineering approach to activities to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
Assists others to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
Define, schedule, and work assigned tasks through completion to validate system-of-systems concepts, system concepts and subsystem concepts by inspection, analysis, test, and demonstration to assure that the system architecture and design concepts satisfy the intent of the customer requirements.
Assist on defining and scheduling tasks, providing status, monitoring integration and checkout activities, receiving and evaluating of results of activities.
Assist the above for highly complex or broad scope programs.
This position is located in Seal Beach, CA and El Segundo, CA and does offer relocation assistance to eligible candidates.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience with system engineering concepts (requirements, design, and operation).
Experience producing technical communication, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with integrated systems for space mission management and command & control.
Experience with Government programs & processes.
Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
