Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications:

Basic qualifications for this role will include a Bachelor's level degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related technical field and zero years of professional experience.

Candidates must have the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance to at least the Secret level.

Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required.

In this capacity, this person will support the factory following Electrical Engineering efforts for the radar product line, but could also multi-task onto supporting Electrical design and development roles for new projects as required. This will be a challenging, fast-paced role. Will be responsible to resolve Engineering issues involving power architecture and cable design and development for production hardware. Basic Qualifications: Electrical Engineering degree. Relevant disciplines would include power distribution and cable design, test and performing support activities. Duties will require a person capable in efforts involving the testing of production assemblies and the troubleshooting and debugging of these products. This role will require a person to assist in the conceptual design, detailed design and testing of production radar assemblies, with emphasis on power distribution component analysis and selection. Must have the ability to determine root causes of technical issues that arise and to identify the most efficient path to resolve any problems. Desired Skills: Relevant experience with both radar and facility power systems is a plus. This individual will be asked to participate in all phases of the project and resolving technical issues arising during final testing. This individual should be an effective communicator, pro-active and self-motivated to support production programs in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Desired skills required would be a knowledge of power distribution and RF cabling, including familiarity with Zuken and Pro-Cable design tools. Some experience with the national electrical codes and standards is also desired. Knowledge of generator specification and cable design, documentation and production support disciplines a plus.
