The Systems Engineering Integration and Test team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Systems Engineer 2/3 based out of San Diego, CA.
What You'll get to Do:
The selected candidate will part of systems engineering team doing System Design Integration; Requirements Development, Management, and Verification; decomposition and flowdown/linkage. And perform System Thread Development, Functional Flow Analysis, and System Performance Analysis on various programs and indirect efforts. He or she should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.
Responsible for coordination and collaboration with diverse engineering design teams
Requires systems thinking and working knowledge of the full development life-cycle processes that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Execute Model Based Systems Engineering methods and create SysML/UML artifacts
Exhibit strong leadership characteristics in coordinating with multiple teams and managing tasks.

You'll Bring these Qualifications:
Level 2: Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university and at least 2 years of engineering experience
Level 3: Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university and at least 5 years of engineering experience
Level 2 and 3:
An active DoD Secret to start
Experience with requirements development and requirements management
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Prefer Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Engineering Physics.
Experiences using the DOORS requirements system
Familiarity and experience with Agile methodologies.
Top Secret Clearance
Strong technical writing and communication skills. Flexibility to evolving program environments. Candidate's performance directly impacts program success
