As part of Global Independence, you will help the Deloitte US Firms remain independentunbiased and free from conflicts of interestwhen providing services to clients. Independence requirements are defined by specific sets of policies, external rules, and regulations, so maintaining both the independence of the Deloitte Firms and personal independence is critical to the business and reputation of Deloitte.
The individual in this position will lead and/or participate in projects that define, test and deploy software applications that enable Deloitte's independence as well as learn and understand the basic application of our Independence polices and regulations. This role will also require interaction with individuals, in the Global Independence group, who use the Deloitte Entity Search and Compliance/Entity Hierarchy Management (DESC/EHM) system and/or Global Independence Monitoring System (GIMS) and associated software applications.
Role specific responsibilities:
Maintain a detailed understanding of the DESC/EHM and GIMS software features and functions in relation to the business processes they enable
Design and execute functional testing which confirms that the DESC/EHM and GIMS applications performs as designed and in support the business processes
Participate in deployment initiatives that ensure end-user software application adoption and member firm readiness; the initiatives may involve assisting with the preparation of deployment materials, on-site and remote training, awareness presentations and process consultations
Participate in the development and delivery of materials that support the successful adoption of the EHM software application for various audience types (non-technical business teams, system administrators at the member firm and global level); the material may include communication plans, SharePoint product sites, project tracking, readiness checklists, quick reference guides, FAQs, stakeholder analyses, on-demand videos and other change management materials in partnership with the project leads and program stakeholders
Implement practices and procedures that ensure management remains abreast of initiatives and their effectiveness
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

To be considered for this role, candidates will need the following qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience working in a matrixed global environment
Years of Experience:
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a professional capacity emphasizing the development, deployment and ongoing support of complex software applications
Ability to translate technical concepts and business information into creative feature design, and effective software functional tests
Ability to produce effective communications for a global audience across many organizational levels in support of software application deployment
Experience with enterprise software implementations, such as SharePoint, intranets, and extranets preferred
Strong proficiency in: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint
Familiarity with multi-media production tools a plus
Ability to understand and explain complex business processes
Ability to understand the value of technology solutions within the context of Deloitte's business environment
Ability to work within a virtual team environment across multiple countries
Presentation, organization, and meeting facilitation skills
Ability to identify and address all dependencies to ensure successful project delivery
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with evolving and competing requirements and priorities
Ability to conform to existing styles, policies, and procedures
