The Application Developer for the Association of College and University Housing Officers International (ACUHO-I) is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of the online, application, and network environments for the association, as directed by the Senior Director of Information Technology. This hands-on position develops, maintains, and improves custom internal and external applications and interfaces, including underlying business intelligence and data layers, using frameworks and tools such as Visual Studio, C#, .NET, .NET MVC, APIs (REST and SOAP), ASP.Net WebForms, IIS server management, Git, T-SQL, HTML, CSS, LESS, SASS, JavaScript, Knockout, and SaaS and SSO integrations; serves as a technical expert and participates in project teams, as part of working in an open, agile development environment to ensure applications are implemented according to specifications and department guidelines, including code quality, documentation, security, and branding; creates, analyzes, and plans complex and agile IT solutions to address identifiable needs; responds to and remediates IT security threats; assists in the administration of the association's workstations, databases, domains, and servers; utilizes Windows network operations and access methods; and completes end-user requests and incidents through resolution. Position may require occasional travel out of state; occasional night/weekend work for IT assistance.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; 3-5 years of experience with a proven track record of achieving results in a fast paced, challenging, and creative IT environment; exceptional internal and external customer service and communication skills.

The role will primarily support our OCLO business segment, initially focusing on our Tier 2 program, Legal Modernization.
