What you will do:
Under direct supervision and using established standards, responsible for implementation of mechanical components for HVAC systems to meet the intent of the project requirements. Provides detailed information and coordinates submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, Johnson Controls field installation team and subcontractors. Responds to basic warranty calls by guiding Customers to the correct parties.
How you will do it:
1.Selects hardware designs from standard design library for flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material, network layouts and electrical schematics as required.
2.Works with financial, AP & AR personnel on day to day, basic items in keeping the business healthy.
3.Coordinates the creation of necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.
4.Selects, orders, and tracks the delivery of materials for assigned projects. Coordinates field mounting processes by mechanical crew to meet project schedule.
5.Assists Team Leader in IIS & CBS required software work in the evaluation of JCI metrics for transmission to upper management.
6.Gathers field and as-built drawings changes from the project team. Prepares proper documentation and/or manuals for system operation.
7.Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues. 8. Coordinates personnel for site-specific training for owner/operator on the total system.
9.Completes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
10. Facilitates adhesion to safety standards for mechanical installation team. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
11. Assists in attaining required certification for the team.
What we look for:
Minimum of four years of experience with installing and/or commissioning mechanical systems including various types of HVAC & mechanical equipment. Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical system and limited knowledge of electrical / control systems.
Demonstrated mechanical systems component aptitude. Demonstrated advanced computer skills required in implementing / installing mechanical systems.
