Job Description
We are seeking a proficient Systems Designer with experience in systems drafting. While specific knowledge of electrical systems is not required, the ability to work with and interpret building schematics and floor plans is essential. In this role, you will be responsible for designing site plans, including wheel lock placements for grocery carts and exit strategies within retail stores. Your attention to detail and proficiency in AutoCAD will contribute to successful system installations.
Essential Job Functions
System Design and Integration:
Define site application plans for installations or major upgrades, considering devices, configurations, antenna loops, door managers, and cameras.
Utilize store surveys, floorplans, and existing design libraries.
Interface with engineering departments to resolve system issues and create site plans.
Create custom layouts and drawings using AutoCAD, Visio, and Photoshop.
Pushout Theft Systems:
Design complete systems, including pushout solutions and smart wheel mounting hardware.
Recommend, plan, and implement solutions.
Maintain technical expertise through meetings and global support collaboration.
Top Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD: Ability to create accurate technical drawings.
Reading Building Schematics and Floor Plans: Interpret architectural blueprints.
Computer Skills: Familiarity with Navision, Microsoft Office, and Smartsheet.
Scheduling and Calendar Management: Maintain accurate calendars and track report information.
Additional Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Associate's degree in electronics or computer technology (EE background preferred) or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Adobe Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop), technical support, and Microsoft 365/SharePoint FLOWS.

Autocad: Best candidates will have strong Autocad skills.
Retail Experience: Ideal candidates come from a retail background and have experience in security alarm design.
On-Site Commitment: Full-time on-site presence is preferred.
MEP Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
Retail Buildings Background: Understanding of retail building structures.
Security and Relevant Disciplines: Experience in security, mechanical, electrical, or plumbing fields.
