Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. Join an inclusive team passionate about one thing: using their expertise in the relentless pursuit of innovation for customers and partners.
The solutions we build help make everything from virtual reality experiences to breakthroughs in neural networks possible. We do it all while committing to integrity, sustainability, and giving back to our communities. Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.
At Systems integration Group (SIG), we define, design, and build sophisticated test equipment to support Micron manufacturing. As an engineering team, we prepare studies and analyze existing semiconductor device test systems.
As members of the electrical engineering team we apply circuit theory to solve problems on PCB assemblies and at the system level. We work closely in multidisciplinary design teams communicating with software and mechanical engineers, procurement, planning, and contract manufacturers. The teams can be geographically diverse and located around the world.
The electrical engineer job provides opportunities in many diverse fields of electrical engineering. We use the fields below to create printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies.
Analog circuit design
Verilog FPGA design
High speed signal design
The team uses Mentor Graphics EDA tools for schematic entry and PCB layout activities. We detail the design by writing the following documents.
We verify the design in the lab using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, TDR, DMM, and power supplies. The job also has opportunities in python scripting and data analysis.
We encourage growth in analytical thinking, problem solving, personal initiative, and interpersonal skills. We work as a diverse team to design, build, and maintain test equipment which gives Micron a competitive advantage. Are you ready for the challenge?
Designs, defines and implements complex system requirements for customers and/or prepares studies and analyzes existing systems. Determines system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions.
