Position Summary
The Systems/Cloud Administrator will be responsible for the documentation, setup, support, and maintenance of both AWS and on-premises infrastructures with a strong focus on cybersecurity measures. Responsibilities include installing new software releases, system upgrades, evaluating and installing patches, and resolving software related problems. Additionally, this role involves performing system backups, recovery, and maintaining data files while ensuring system configuration upholds data integrity and security protocols. This position occasionally requires the applicant to travel to company branches.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Network documentation, maintenance, and security monitoring
Server documentation, installation, support, maintenance, and security audits
VMware vSphere/ESXi setup, support, maintenance, and security assessments
Active Directory documentation, maintenance, and auditing
Firewall maintenance, support, and auditing
SAN maintenance, support, and security evaluations
Testing and maintenance of disaster recovery plan
Backup documentation and maintenance
Intrusion detection and prevention
Vulnerability management
Security awareness training and management
Security monitoring tools management and assessments
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills
3+ years of experience with Information Security or Network/Systems Administration with a focus on security
3+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 & Windows Defender 365
Ability to work independently
Strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems and common open-source utilities
Strong working knowledge of Windows Server management, patching, maintenance, and hardening
Working knowledge of security platforms and strategies
Working knowledge of AWS server management
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Proven knowledge of common industry standard security practices
Ability to create, update, and maintain documentation for all processes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in systems administration, networking, or a related discipline. Prefer advanced degree in Information Assurance, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related degree
Experience with Cisco/Aruba switch configuration/maintenance
Experience with VMware vSphere and ESXi
Experience with backup & disaster recovery solutions
Experience with Microsoft 365 administration including Defender and Purview
Experience with security monitoring tools
Experience performing security assessments on a wide range of enterprise hardware
Familiarity with IoT devices and BYOD security is strongly recommended
