The candidate will be required to work with a team in order to provide a fully functioning Cloud architecture and other support requirements as deemed necessary by the government entities. We will be providing Enterprise Cloud Support Services using AWS and Microsoft Azure software, infrastructure, and platform subscriptions which allow online software, infrastructure, and platform access. Our company will be required to provide the ability to provide partner applications, 24/7 technical call center, professional labor to support the Cloud (training, full-time daily support operations, and consultation and support), and Cloud-based digital/media asset management system.

System Architect:

  • Required Skills:

  • Designs Cloud architecture to include software and hardware to support requirements and interfaces.

  • Translates user requirements into design specifications and implementation.

  • Creates process flows, data models, prototypes, user interface designs, screen layouts and specifications.

  • Designs, develops, tests and implements solutions across functional areas in support of Cloud architecture needs.

  • Ensures compatibility of components in the architecture and regulatory compliance. Provides directions to Contractor personnel.

  • Performs other tasks as assigned by the COR.

  • Experience / Certifications:

  • Two years of experience performing the activities above and direct management of personnel working as system administrators for the Cloud architecture.

  • Preferred: MCSA: Cloud Platform or MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure.

  • Preferred: IAT-II (one of the following): CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE or SSCP or higher.

  • Clearance

  • Secret with an IT-II (requires a minimum of an interim Secret)

The need to maintain our core Computer Science group is vital to provide the technical capabilities necessary to successfully execute NSA's mission. The increased complexity of supporting NSA's mission requires world class researchers, programmers, and system and operations developers who collaborate in teams in areas such as software engineering, information technology infrastructure, high performance computing, data science, cloud and system architectures, computer security, and networking in order to design, develop, and implement advanced tools, techniques, and systems on to NSA's infrastructure. The National Security Agency (NSA) currently has opportunities for highly motivated Computer Systems Architects to design and build the information technology framework of the future across the NSA.
