The Systems Architect has the responsibility to lead the technology development for industry leading CT Scanner. This role is also responsible for driving cross-functional high-impact business initiatives to deliver customer workflow, feature functionality, product quality, reliability, serviceability, manufacturability, regulatory, compliance, and cost.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Requirements development and flow down, architecture / system design and analysis, electro mechanical components integration, modeling, FMEA, developing/executing system verification and validation test procedures, reliability testing and providing support to manufacturing and field issues.
Coordinates and leads technical reviews.
Drives quality culture in all aspects of engineering deliverables and activities
Works with technical experts across the organization (and globe) to implement tactical and strategic initiatives
Uses understanding of current and emerging technologies to enable solution differentiation
Communicates effectively and influences technical teams to deliver
Mentors less experienced engineers cross-functionally
Quality Specific Goals:
1.Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2.Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3.Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4.Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
5.Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible
1.Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or closely related discipline
2.10+ years relevant work experience
3.Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems
4.Proficient in the use of software tools for analysis and simulation (MATLAB, Python, SysML, Simulink)
5.Demonstrated ability to pursue tasks to completion
6.Broad exposure to HW/SW/Systems design, and technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, etc)
1.Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other closely related fields
2.Excellent verbal and written communication skills
3.Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
4.Demonstrated problem solving ability and results orientation
