SAICis seeking Systems Engineers and Software Engineers tosupport O&M, R&D, and procurement of data and informationprocessing capabilities to improve battlespace awareness and data for decisionmaking at all echelons across Combat Air Force (AF) Command and Control (C2)and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) enterprise,Intelligence Community (IC), Joint, and Coalition air, space, cyberspace, andintelligence components, systems, and architectures. This mission is toresearch, develop, transition, and sustain advanced information technologysolutions to support timely and secure intelligence information access,analysis, and dissemination for National Defense and Intelligence Communitydecision makers at all echelons, which enables the continuous assessment ofglobal conditions and events; establishes and maintains critical battlespacesituational awareness (including an understanding of adversarial capabilitiesand intent); provides game-changing intelligence; and that locates, identifies,and tracks red, blue, and gray forces anywhere, anytime in near real-time.
The functional areas associated with dataand information processing capabilities include, but are not limited to, thefollowing:
Multi-domain integration of intelligence andoperations across air, space, cyberspace, including Command, Control,Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance(C4ISR) strategy development, kinetic/non-kinetic targeting, planning,re-planning, and operational assessment in support of the full range ofmilitary operations from permissive to contested and denied environments
