This position is located at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA.
This position is eligible for a (hybrid) telecommuting schedule / remote. Tasks for this position must be performed largely on-site, but later assignments may be performed remotely.
Essential Functions
Assists the Item Managers for both Eastern and Western Ranges to coordinate sparing levels and inventory usage across both Ranges
Attends project meetings and assists with the implementation of Project sparing levels on Forward Supply Points, Base Supply levels and the Wholesale inventory
Attends Sub-System Working Group (SSWG) meetings to identify sparing issues and provide Logistical information to the group
Leads the development and continuous implementation of processes, procedures and workflow systems for assets
Collects and analyzes data to identify and reduce excess inventory or increase allowances for all assets
Ensure company is in compliance with the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) program by monitoring Inventory Control Point (ICP) metrics, backorders and submits reports to management and the Air Force customer
Leads implementation of Item Unique Identifier (IUID) requirements on all Wholesale spares
Creates Purchase Requisitions for the increase of the Interim Supply Support (ISS) spares due to increased failure rates or long lead times on repairs / procurements
Tracks ICP spares through the repair process to maintain serviceable assets at the established levels and eliminate backorders
Leads effort to identify Legacy assets with no Logistics Management Information and performs research to gather information and assign assets under the LTRS ICP
Tracks ICP spares with Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) cases to find alternative solutions and identifies new cases to the DMSMS group
Creates standard and ADHOC reports for management from LIMS-EV, Maximo and other systems as required
Expedites material for special programs, maintenance, or production shops
Perform all duties as assigned
Required Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data, to establish the facts, and to take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines
Strong ability to develop new processes and metrics using Microsoft Office programs
Required Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Logistics Management or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of five years' experience with logistics/supply, education or training which demonstrates a thorough knowledge of inventory management and analysis
Experience with Maximo and/or similar supply management system
Strong working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or other established guidelines
Working knowledge of Supply Regulations AFI 23-101, AF123-123, AFMAN23-122
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Familiar with DoD Supply System
Technical background or understanding of Range Systems
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Ability to travel 1-2 times per year
The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship
Valid U.S. Driver's License

The salary range for this role is $76,970 to $110,000; however, RGNext considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training and preferred skills and knowledge.
