Description:
Top 3 skill sets required for this role:
Ability to pull reporting, oftentimes from multiple sources, thoroughly analyze the data, compile the data into one easily readable report, and be able to provide a clear summary of the data analysis either through written summary or other reporting mechanism such as dashboards, graphs, etc..
Experience with efficiently and properly managing, tracking, and reporting for multiple efforts/projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Having a technical background or having experience working on technical projects is a huge plus.
Work Schedule: Remote, Hybrid, Onsite: Hybrid
If hybrid: How many days onsite vs remote: Two days in the office is mandatory, but subject to change at any time at upper management's discretion.
What days will be in-office and remote: All team members are required to be at the Chicago Reservations Center on Wednesdays. To meet the two-days in office requirement, the other day can be at a location and day of the team member's choice. The other options besides the Reservation Center are Willis Tower, Arlington Heights Network Operations Center, and Network Data Center in Mount Prospect.
What shift (if applicable): Regular business hours Monday thru Friday. There is flexibility on start time, but within reason.

We are looking for candidates with expertise in both information technology and business administration for the role of IT Business Analyst. IT business analysts are responsible for enhancing the quality of IT products and services, analyzing data to inform business decisions, and finding technological solutions to business needs, among other duties.
The best IT business analysts have exceptional interpersonal skills as they need to act as a communication link between Endpoint Engineering, IT partners, and the various lines of business throughout the enterprise.
IT Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Liaise between Endpoint Engineering and IT & Field Services partners, and the various lines of business throughout the enterprise.
- Gather and prioritize business requirements and analyze business needs.
- Work with Endpoint Engineering and IT partners to ensure that they understand business requirements and specifications.
- Translate, simplify, and communicate business requirements to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders.
- Discover, organize, and clarify business needs and review/produce specifications for change.
- Analyze and document the design of technical systems and business models.
- Assist Endpoint Engineering engineers finding technological solutions to business requirements.
- Coordinate UAT testing with the business.
- Analyze data to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with other business analysts and/or project managers to assure a consistent implementation of project management disciplines and methodologies.
- Coordinate project activities leveraging team members across areas of the enterprise, vendors, external agencies, and partners.
- Document and actively manage project dependencies, issues, and risks to resolution.
- Prepare and provide regular updates on progress, risks, issues, etc. to department leadership and stakeholders.
- Understand strategic business needs and plans for growth.
- Have strong analytical skills to create reports and offer recommendations.
- The ability to manage multiple projects from beginning to completion.
- Good written and verbal communication skills are crucial for working with all stakeholders.
- Must have the ability to understand the team's challenges and develop solutions.
- Should be familiar with various types of project management and business analysis software. Proficiency in spreadsheets is also important.
IT Business Analyst Requirements:
- Degree in computer engineering, business administration, or related field.
- 5 or more years of relevant technical project management experience, especially for IT infrastructure related projects.
- Candidates with technical backgrounds a must
- Experience with DEX tools such as Tachyon 1E and SysTrack (Strongly desired).
- Experience managing OS migration project a plus.
- Successful management of multiple concurrent IT projects
- Previous experience working on projects that focus on automations, creating efficiencies, and improving the end user experience.
- Demonstrated advanced use of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerBi and/or PPM.
- Demonstrated experience in creating reports and dashboards using Workspace ONE Intelligence, PowerBi, Spotfire, or other similar tools.
- Proven ability to extract data from Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and analyze data and create reports with findings.
- Proficient at creating detailed technical documentation.

Pay Range: $55-58/hr
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
