Systems Analyst III

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides the information technology services required to bring a prototype Electronic Security System (ESS) developed by the project team, from concept, to deployment, and through sustainment; the ESS will be installed in Government facilities and managed in the cloud, with hardware (servers and clients) in a separate facility for redundancy if needed

• Works with the engineering, networking, and cybersecurity teams to apply complex technical and analytical skills that result in the integration of multiple subsystem components into a fully functional unified system meeting requirements

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience providing information technology-related hardware and software services

• Working knowledge and skills in the following information technology areas:

• Build-out and configuration of servers

• Build-out and configuration of clients

• Installation and configuration of Microsoft Active Directory

• Installation and configuration of Microsoft Windows 11 Professional

• Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) configuration

• Creating, configuring, and maintaining virtual machines

• Installing and testing cybersecurity updates

• Containerization

• Microservices

• Application Programming Interfaces (API)

• Using vendor-provided Software Development Kits (SDK) to customize their software

• Creation of functional code and/or scripts in Python, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C++, PowerShell

• SQL/Databases

• Creation of User and Administrator Guides

• Research, development, test, and evaluation

• Applicants must possess at least one of the following certifications:

• CompTIA A+ CE

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Security

• Certified Network Defender (CND)

• CompTIA Network+ CE

• Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

• CompTIA Security+ CE

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional or Associate (CISSP / CISSA)
