Job Summary and Mission
Join our nimble and collaborative team to unlock Customer Profile Master data in accordance with privacy and data regulations to enable the next generation of data driven insights, products and experiences. This role contributes to Starbucks success by delivering and supporting technology solutions for customer profile data critical to Starbucks. As a systems analyst II in Business Intelligence and Data Services, Customer Profile Data you will be responsible for maintaining and enriching Starbucks customer profile data within the Starbucks enterprise and to external vendors. This role requires experience in requirements analysis, solution design, and process improvement coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively across various Starbucks Technology, business functions and external vendors. This person will work closely with data and decision scientists, other Starbucks Technology teams and external vendors on democratizing data that will be used to make data driven decisions for our customers. To be successful in this role, you must be data curious, a self-starter, eager to learn and finally model and act in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Gathers, analyzes, and documents solution requirements. Works user stories and participates in backlog grooming in an agile delivery environment
Proven data analysis skills with large sets of data
Ability to work cross functionally across Starbucks Technology when participating in design
Self-starter and ability to work independently while communicating effectively with a team
Utilizes query tools to write ad-hoc queries to help drive data driven decisions
Leverages LEAN techniques to develop business process designs and improve operations via process re-engineering efforts.
Utilizes agile delivery methodologies and participates on scrum teams in execution of solution delivery projects.
Considers overall user technology experience in thoughtfully designing engaging solutions.
Supports solution testing efforts by validating test results.
Provides 24*7 global support of critical systems.
Demonstrates system proficiency and leverages subject matter expertise to perform root cause analysis and assess issue trends.
Coordinates issue resolution with vendors and/or cross-functional teams. Provides timely and thorough communication regarding issue status/resolution with end-users and other key stakeholders.
Creates and maintains systems documentation (e.g. Wiki, Knowledge Base Articles) Develops and facilitates system training. Leadership
Partners with business and proposes solutions/improvements.
Works effectively in a self-directed manner with minimal direction from lead and/or manager.
Summary of Experience
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant
amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of systems development lifecycle and IT operations.
Knowledge of configuration and key integration points of relevant applications/modules/platforms.
Familiarity with following technologies: Cassandra, Spark, Databricks, Azure, Python
Previous experience defining, developing and troubleshooting API contracts
Familiarity with Jira/Confluence as tools to support Agile Methodology
