This position will be filled as a Systems Analyst I ($66,930 - $103,741 ) or Systems Analyst II ($77,479 - $120,093) depending on qualifications. This individual will work within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost on one or more projects to deliver solutions, support business partners and complete project artifacts. The Systems Analyst will work closely with business partners and others within IT to:
Provide value-added technical support to business partners utilizing current or new solutions
Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and system solutions
Update project documents and systems design documentation
Participate in task groups as directed for projects and managed work assignments
Conduct meetings and make presentations to small and large audiences to communicate information or progress in specific areas
Participate as directed in the creation of Requests for Proposals (RFP's) as new system needs are identified
Provide management with information on progress and prepare status reports to communicate productivity and system status measures
Aid in the evaluation of new product lines providing systems information
Assists users with information requirements and designs for report formats to satisfy user needs
Modify report stored procedures for existing reports and implement requirements for new report request
Added job duties for the Systems Analyst II:
Develop diagrams and flowcharts for system design including business process models
Perform gap analysis to establish system and business capabilities
Perform and/or review feasibility studies and cost benefit analyses to provide factual data on new system proposals
Participate as directed in the creation of Requests for Proposals (RFP's) as new system needs are identified
Lead implementation of new technology solutions and application upgrades
Manage project activities for small/midsized projects
Research and complete complex report and query requests requiring knowledge of data base structures
Manage technology vendor relations
The successful candidates should have:
Knowledge and recent experience of information technology standards and best practices for technical systems analysis and design
Proven experience with enterprise solution deployment/implementation
Experience with vendor provided software installation and on-going support
Knowledge and recent experience designing and developing Crystal Reports, SSRS Reports or other reporting application used for report viewing and application integration
Knowledge and recent experience supporting solutions with Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) and using query tools for SQL and/or Oracle
Experience with complex legacy data conversion or data migration to a vendor software solution to include data mapping and data validation processes
Experience with formal testing methodologies and User Testing processes to include support activities during formal testing periods
Ability to provide excellent customer service at all levels of an organization
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the English language
Relevant experience will include:
Demonstrated detailed analysis of error conditions and software bugs in vendor provided software
Demonstrated ability to develop close working relationships with vendor support staff
Documented experience with elicitation, management, and documentation of user requirements to include requirements traceability across systems implementation
Documented investigative analysis related to user issues, new releases, and new or improved solutions
Detailed descriptions of formal use of both SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
Research capabilities of specific solutions or new technology
Testing and debugging potential solutions and on-going support of installed solutions
