The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical support for assigned applications.
The candidate will be participating in the efforts of reporting and associated report/extract deliverables, for the overall design, build, test and deploy of Soarian Financials, focusing on departmental end user report requirements and vendor extracts, plus security and integration touch points. Work regularly with business analysts, along with all technical teams.
Possess knowledge of Soarian end user reports across hospital and CBO departments. Hospital application-based reporting experience is desired.
Possess familiarity of Soarian registration and billing features and functions that support all acute work flows. Hospital systems functionality knowledge is desired.
Work under the direction of the Reporting Work stream Manager.
Work with Business Analysts to identify all current state reports and identify future state Soarian replacements. Maintain reports / extract inventory of the reporting deliverable.
Work with external technical or application teams to identify all existing extracts inventory for each hospital and identify Soarian replacements. Work with technical teams for extract delivery methods, as well as security and integration touch points.
Perform gap analysis and identify, document and own reconciliation measures.
Interact heavily with Data Management report/extract developers or Vendors for all report/extract design, build, and unit testing.
Interact heavily with business analysts during all phases of Design, Build, and Test cycles.
Facilitate and participate in testing reports and extracts with the various teams
Participate in Project Activation planning, testing. Work directly with all Project Teams for go-live events.
Maintain technical documentation based on standard operating procedures in support of the project repository and operations expectations.
Participate and lead various meetings, focus groups, workshops; attend vendor training and demonstrations.
Deliver effective communications internally and externally. Manage client relationships.
Be part of the 24x7 support of the Soarian Financials and Soarian Scheduling applications and helping troubleshoot problems when they surface.
1-2 years hospital experience preferred.
1-2 years information technology experience required.
Work under the direction of the Manager to provide technical application solutions for assigned business areas.
Possess technical knowledge of assigned application technology.
Work with Business Analyst to understand the customer's product-specific requirements and configuration and translate them to technical design specifications and data flow from which programs are developed and coded.
Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents programs or technical configuration.
Ensure programs meet technical specifications and standards.
Interact with Business and clinical representatives during the software build or configuration and testing process.
Perform technical application configuration and configure /run reports at user request.
