    Duties include developing, maintaining and evaluating operational systems; identifying needs, redundancies and inefficiencies; designing, re-engineering and automating processes to resolve critical problems and improve the delivery of City services.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:%3Co:p%3E ●Responsible for higher-level technical classification in Data Processing. ●Responsible for analyzing, collecting, storing and creating electronic data utilizing such data information systems such as REJIS, Informaker and the Integrated Jail Management System (IJMS), ●Develop and assist with implementing REJIS into the IJMS system. ●Provide and assist the Program Manager of the Division of Corrections with tracking and monitoring numerous programs in the Re-Entry efforts. ●Develop and assist the Data Central Unit with implementing programs to enhance the Division of Corrections. ●Provide and assist Information Systems , Electronic Technician with operating systems and technical support for the Division of Corrections. ●Assist with tracking, purchases and supplies of computer hardware for the Division of Corrections. ●Provide assistance and work with the Division of Corrections Records Retention Department with open records, retention and records requests.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:%3Co:p%3E ●Data Utilization: Requires the ability to perform mid-level data analysis including the ability to audit, deduce, assess, conclude and appraise. Requires discretion in determining and referencing such established criteria to define consequences and develop alternatives. ●Human Interaction:

    Requires the ability to provide guidance, assistance and/or interpretation to others, such as coworkers and the public, on how to apply policies, procedures and standards to specific situations. ●Equipment, Machinery, Tools and Materials Use: Requires the ability to operate, calibrate, tune and synchronize, and perform complex rapid adjustment on equipment, machinery and tools such as a personal computer, calculator, fax machine and/or related materials used in performing essential functions. ●Verbal Aptitude:

    Requires the ability to utilize a variety of reference, descriptive and advisory data and information such as status reports, purchase requisitions, security plans, technical manuals, ordinances and non-routine correspondence. ●Mathematical Aptitude:

    Requires the ability to perform basic to advanced algebraic and geometric operations. ●Functional Reasoning:

    Requires the ability to apply principles of influence systems such as leading, planning, coordinating and controlling. Ability to exercise independent judgment to apply facts and principles for developing approaches and techniques to problem resolution. ●Situational Reasoning:

    Requires the ability to exercise the judgment, decisiveness and creativity required in situations involving the evaluation of information against sensory, judgmental and/or subjective criteria, as opposed to criteria that are clearly measurable or verifiable. ●Environmental Factors: Tasks are regularly performed in safe and comfortable surroundings without exposure to adverse environmental conditions. ●Physical Requirements: Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull moderately heavy objects and materials, twenty (20) to fifty (50) pounds, such as moving personal computers for installation.
