The Office of Financial Aid (OFA) oversees and administers financial aid, billing, residency, and student employment. OFA operates under the Division of Enrollment and Access to provide student-centered assistance by working under federal, state, and university guidance, enabling students to enroll, manage their finances, achieve their academic goals, and graduate in a timely manner. Seventy-five percent of CSU students are financial aid recipients, and OFA disburses over $300 million of financial aid annually. This position will provide dual support to Fort Collins and Pueblo campuses for the duration of the Joint Banner Project. This position exists to identify and analyze business processes that can be performed more efficiently, assist in system-wide testing of software and financial aid processes and coordinate the documentation of financial aid processes and procedures.
Required Job Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education PLUS two years' experience in Information Technology positions, developing applications for users using the following:
Demonstrated classroom or professional experience with enterprise transactional databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, and MySQL
Demonstrated classroom or professional programming proficiency in current application software such as C++, C#, .net, Java, VB

Master's degree in CS, CIS or related field
Experience working with Banner Student Information System
Experience with website accessibility requirements and best practices
Project management and scheduling
Professional experience in a Title IV Financial Aid office
Preference will be given to individuals with demonstrable experience building accessible websites that meet the most current version of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) published by the W3C.
User interfaces and interactive deliverables that perform well both on mainstream devices and with assistive technology
Semantic and ARIA mark-up elements
Product accessibility testing continuously through all development stages
Troubleshooting, revising, and updating websites encumbered by legacy code accessibility constraints
