We are looking to for a dynamic Systems Analyst to join our team! The Systems Analyst will examine and evaluate current business systems, identify system requirements. and liaise with users to track additional requirements and features. The Systems Analyst will coordinate with interagency information systems analysts and recommend methods for completing defense business system objectives based on user needs and a good understanding of information technology, business processes, and industry requirements. They will also perform practical business information systems analysis, recommendations, and reporting and be a backup help desk specialist. 

This position is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Design and develop system solutions based on business needs and industry best practices
• Perform system testing and validation to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of implemented solutions
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system-related issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in system analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 
• Minimum 5 years experience as a systems analyst or in a similar role 
• Able to obtain a minimum of NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries) for a Veterans Affairs Public Trust Tier 3 Clearance

Required Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in system analysis methodologies and tools
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management principles
• Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results
• Knowledge of programming languages and database management systems is a plus

Desired Skills:

• Government contracting experience  
• DoD and VA experience as a contractor or otherwise    
• Former military experience
