Booker by MINDBODY is looking to hire a talented, self-directed individual to join our IT Engineering team. The IT Engineer I is a Systems Analyst who will be responsible for maintaining and improving our MINDBODY corporate infrastructure, as well as be responsible for reviewing system performance and report out on system performance issues. The systems analyst will provide analysis, problem-solving and support for software, hardware, application and/or data issues. This role reports to our Director of IT Operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Someone with an analytical/scientific mindset.
An enthusiastic person who is passionate about learning and thrives in a highly iterative, collaborative environment
1-2 years of IT experience in a .NET environment and/or working with web services.
Expertise in cloud systems.
Have strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving/ decision-making skills.
Have proven the ability to work effectively in a team setting as well as independently with minimal guidance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Bachelors in a technical degree or equivalent experience.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learn to monitor current infrastructure capacity as well as grow future infrastructure monitoring.
Contribute to the strategy for capacity and performance solutions.
Work with the Scrum teams in reviewing new functionality and how it may affect capacity, performance, and monitoring.
Partner with all of the technology teams to optimize our existing platform and support new features and services at scale.
Assist in implementing infrastructure technologies to improve the management of production and test environments. Document procedures for the use and support of all tools to allow seamless ongoing operation.
Learn to craft automated tests to verify the stability of new functionality and existing functionality to ensure reliability and consistency with a focus on high availability and load testing.
