Work closely with Oracle's internal business and development teams to drive the technical/functional global implementation of Oracle's applications internally. The main responsibilities may include: Manage all aspects of internal deployment projects and work closely with the internal teams on status, issues and communications. Define business specifications with the internal user community for the global deployment of the application. Define and drive business specifications for product and component integration points. Map standard application functionality to global/local business specifications. Manage product gaps from business specifications to product enhancement and/or business process change. Gather specifications and drive solutions from a global perspective across the e-Business Suite. Define product enhancements to drive solutions across the e-Business Suite for all customers. Manage product setup definition and configuration along with internal business process teams. Manage all aspect of product rollout and coordination with internal teams. Define specifications for data migration from legacy systems into newer applications. Define specifications for data interfaces between applications for product rollouts. Manage user acceptance testing and transfer of information to internal teams. Provide technical support for implemented applications; diagnosing and reporting bugs, applying patches and upgrades as needed. Establish priorities for feasibility studies, systems design and implementation to develop new and/or modify the company*s information processing systems. Coordinate with functional departments involved to collect system specifications, techniques, and controls. Interact with senior management within Product Development, Business organizations and Global IT.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2-4 years of related experience in a medium to large network distributed and computing environment. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.

As a Cloud Application Engineer, you will join a team ofskilled application engineers entrusted with application operations of theseglobal data centers helping them transform to an automated platform. You willwork closely with infrastructure teams, cloud delivery managers, development& SRE engineers in applying continuous improvements and meetingdeliverables in a fast paced high volume and high velocity environment.


  • Buildand install application platforms and environments as per definedstandards.

  • Documentand share application engineering standards specifically Hotelapplications to ensure standardization and optimization of procedures andprocesses

  • Preparemaintenance run books and validate in test environment as readiness forproduction implementation

Roll up the sleeves in troubleshooting and help junior engineers withincident management

  • Configurebuild/automation installation scripts for key Hotel applications anddeliver as per project plans (Oracle Enterprise Manager, Chef, etc.)

  • Leadthe implementation of new customer environments in both Windows &Linux

  • Assistwith the L3 support escalations

  • Createand contribute to an environment that is geared to innovation, highproductivity, high quality and customer service


  • Bachelor'sdegree in a Computer Science or computer related field

  • 8years related experience of a best-in-class cloud or hosting organization(preferably Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or eCommerce)

  • Have abroad, strong technical knowledge which encompasses Application operationsincluding deployment, Release automation, Platform architecture, Database,Network, Load-balancing / Clustering and Security

  • Havedetailed knowledge of applications built using some or all of WebLogic,Java, Apache, OBIEE, Fusion Middleware, Oracle database and OAM

  • Havestrong experience with WebLogic Server Administration, managing clusters,patches, SSL certificates and code deployments

  • Haveexperience with DevOps operations, managing CI and CD tools, andexperience with Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, Agile workflow methodologies

  • Possessproven track record of operational success in a high traffic environment

  • Possessstrong results orientation and an ability to take ownership of issues anddrive them to completion

  • Be ateam player going above and beyond in taking additional responsibilitiesand delivering them

  • Abilityto succeed through collaboration and working through other internal andexternal organizations and individuals (a track record of deliveringresults within a matrix business environment)

Job Summary An experienced Linux System Administrator is needed provide administration and operational support mission and analytic networks. The candidate will need a proactive attitude, strong customer service skills, and the ability to integrate into an existing technical team. To be successful in this role the candidate will need to demonstrate proficiency with Linux. Primary Responsibilities Provide system administration/engineering for RedHat Enterprise mission and analytic networks. This will include but is not limited to: * User account management, administration, access/controls and support * Installation and configuration of workstations and peripherals * Kernel parameter and disk partition modification * Support to LAN infrastructure * Client-server support, software and hardware upgrades, network administration troubleshooting, and shell script programming. * Provide regression testing on new software releases * Perform periodic system back-ups and developing/documenting standard operating procedures for these activities Basic Qualifications TS/SCI with polygraph required Strong LINUX experience is required. Candidates should have expertise with the following operating systems, applications, and platforms: * RedHat Enterprise * Windows 2008 Server * Windows XP and/or Windows 7 (x64) * McAfee virus scanning software * Microsoft Exchange 2010 * Although minimal, periodic after-hours on-call support is required Within the last 3 years, experience with either UNIX or Windows System Administration, to include user account administration, installation and configuration of workstations and peripherals, kernel parameter and disk partition modification, client-server support, software and hardware upgrades, troubleshooting, and shell script programming. Within the last 3 years, experience with Network Information Service (NIS), Network File System (NFS), Domain Name System (DNS), and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP). Within the last 3 years, a minimum of 1 year scripting experience using BOURNE Shell, C Shell or KORN Shell languages. Within the last 3 years, a minimum of 1 year experience performing periodic system back-ups and developing/documenting standard operating procedures for these activities.
