Systems Administrator/Unit Clerk Or Unit Clinical Assistant- Bed Control - Nursing Administration PRN (Scheduled As Needed)

Job Summary :

To support the practice of nursing and the delivery of nursing care through the use of nursing informatics, a combination of computer science, information science and nursing science designed to assist in the management and processing of nursing data, information and knowledge.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

1.Reports to the nursing unit director; works collaboratively with users

and director; and obtains ongoing feedback of project development and

implementation.

2.Serves on hospital committees and task forces pertinent to CIS.

3.Participates in orientation of system administrator relief staff.

4.Provides first level troubleshooting support within the department.

5.Coordinates and delivers CIS training to new hires during orientation.

6.Delivers training on system enhancements as needed, as well as on new computer applications as they occur.

Education and Experience Required:

1.High school diploma or equivalent.

2.1-2 years of computer system experience preferred.
