About the team
FIS ACBS is a premier commercial lending and loan servicing solution that enables timely decision-making, reduces operating costs, improves data quality and delivers advanced analytics. We are looking for an administrator on our Open Systems team.
What you will be doing
Open Systems support. This is managing a MS Windows (2008r2 - 2019) ecosystem and various systems that run on top of Windows.
AD user management
Web services (IIS) experience a plus
Any experience with the following is appreciated: Citrix, Oracle, Business Objects, ConnectDirect, IBMi, VMWarre
Basic powershell scripting will be expected, advanced appreciated.
Monitors usage and performance.
Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you bring:
Proven experience providing independent judgment and discretion
Must have experience with Citrix (e.g. XenApp and NetScaler), Active Directory, Windows Server operating systems, and VMWare.
Proven experience working independently under general instructions on a large variety of special projects
Effective analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to utilize project management software to manage projects, e.g., MS Project and auxiliary tools
Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature
Knowledge of multiple operating systems and related utilities and hardware
Knowledge of storage management, TCP/IP, network monitoring and tools and technical writing principles and practices
Effective analytical, problem solving, installation and maintenance skills
Ability to work independently as well as within a team
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients and public
Added bonus if you have:
Experience automating application deployment and configuration in a Windows Server environment and/or creating MS AppV sequences is highly desirable.
Experience with IBMi, Oracle, and HPe (SimpliVity) OmniCube systems would also be helpful.
