HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
● Provides inperson device issuance and troubleshooting with End Users
●Tracks researches and responds to end user questions refered from Tier 1 analyst and Systems Associates
● Coordinate with Cyber Monitoring and Engineering groups to properly notify or prepare end users of pending actions
● Provide routine technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures
● Troubleshoots system hardware and software issues
● Trains end users on the proper use of hardware and software
● Performs basic software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
● Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels
● Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions
● Conducts basic hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
● Ensures that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users
● May evaluate existing systems and assist with planning long- term strategies
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
● Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience
● Security Clearance Level: Minimum of interim Secret and clearable to Top Secret
