SAIC is seeking a System Administrator Tier 3 for the Joint Expeditionary Command and Control (JEXC2) program in Panama City Beach, FL:

Job Responsibilities:

• Work on deployable IT systems that communicate over satellite

• Integrate patches, and maintenance releases into current build scripts and documents

• Assist developing security patches (Windows and Red Hat Linux for Enterprise)

• Automating enclave builds (Powershell, Jinja, Desired State Configuration)

• Support of fielded systems, and test events

• Willingness to travel 0% to 15% of the time

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelors and two (2) years or more related experience; Masters and zero (0) years related experience; four(4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree

Required Skills:

• Familiarity with Windows Server 2012 R2, or newer

• Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows Roles and Features related to Enterprise services

• Familiarity with Linux operating systems (RHEL 7, or newer preferred)

• Familiarity with Type 1 Hypervisors (VMware ESXi preferred)

• The ability to create, test, and maintain code that perform a variety of tasks ranging from simple to complex.

• Strong familiarity with programing concepts: debugging, planning and design, control structures, data structures, loops, SDLC, syntax, and tools

Required Clearance:

US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. A minimum of an Interim Secret clearance will be required to begin work.

Required Certification:

CompTIA Security+ certification is required prior to first day of employment.
