Multiple teams at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) are looking for you to join our team as a Systems Administrator 2 or 3 based out of Aurora, CO.

What You'll get to Do:

  • Serve as technical resource within the SM Department with some exposure to customer interface

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision to prioritize tasks

  • Perform updates and patching of computer system

  • Configure, administer and maintain computer systems (RedHat Enterprise Linux)

  • Configure, administer, and maintain patch deployment and management system

  • Provide patch management status reporting to management

  • Configure, monitor, maintain, and administer computer backup and recovery solution

  • Provide backup and recovery status reporting to management

  • Make recommendations for solutions to technical problems (e.g. product selection recommendations)

  • Support Engineering end user desktop environment

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

BQs for a Systems Administrator are...

  • 3 Years with Bachelors; 5 years with an Associates; 1 Years with Masters; or 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

  • Configure, administer and maintain computer systems (RedHat Enterprise Linux)

  • Active TS/SCI access

  • Adjudicated Polygraph (within 7 years)

  • Current Security CE Certification or ability to obtain Security CE Certification prior to start date (DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification; IAT Level II).

BQs for a Principal Systems Administrator are...

  • 6 Years with Bachelors;8 years with an Associates; 4 Years with Masters; or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

  • Configure, administer and maintain computer systems (RedHat Enterprise Linux)

  • Active TS/SCI access

  • Adjudicated Polygraph (within 7 years)

  • Current Security CE Certification or ability to obtain Security CE Certification prior to start date (DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification; IAT Level II).

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have for both a Systems Administrator or Principal Systems Administrator

  • Current Security CE Certification (DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification; IAT Level II).

  • Experience Administering and maintaining Active Directory environments and group policy

  • Experience with Administering and maintaining a Windows environment (Desktop and Server operating systems)

  • Experience in administration of secure configuration managed systems

  • Experience utilizing Secure Configuration Guidance such as DISA STIG's

  • Experience with supporting operational systems
