This position will be in Northern California Pharmacy Automated Warehouse (Livermore). This position will support a fast pace 24x7 automated prescription fulfillment environment. The focus of this position will be to provide production and project support which will require both technical skills and project management skills to manage not only the technical aspects of the application, but the business/client facing aspects as well. This role requires the ability to play an active role in projects, client relationships, vendor relationships, and production support.


General Points:

  • Systems Administration domain
  • Role will be business/client facing to define requirements, coordinate system enhancements, support software releases.
  • Technical skills required (for 2nd level support purposes not development level work).
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Wintel environments

This position will not perform any major development type work.Responsibilities will also include:

  • Compliance investigations (research into logfiles, or data as needed).
  • Minor Reports development (SQL)
  • QA Testing of vendor supplied application changes
  • Software release support Manage vendor releases into non-production, testing, and production.
  • On-Call Production Support.
  • Business/Client liaison document business requirements, translate to technical requirements for vendor development.
  • Change Management
  • Travel may be required


Salary: Commensurate with experience.

The Leave of Absence and Workers Compensation Administrator: * Manages routine to complex employee leaves of absence (LOA) including, but not limited to, FMLA (full and intermittent), PDL, CFRA, OFLA, Worker's Compensation, and unpaid leaves. Communicates with carriers, legal advisors, case managers, managers, and employees. Ensures leaves are being handled according to policy and procedures and in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations. * Educates employees and managers on LOA, ADA, and Worker's Compensation accommodation processes and acts as a primary contact for the employee. Communicates leave and accommodation responsibilities effectively with all levels of the organization. Partners with vendor and business partners in facilitating return to work activity. * Ensures that appropriate and timely follow-up information is provided to employees in response to requests for information, documents and forms. * Provides pro-active guidance and direction to HR management and staff on employee relations issues related to, or impacted by, leaves of absence. Considers all aspects of employment related policies and procedures. Documents processes, decisions, and approvals ensuring a consistent and fair approach to leave management. Escalates issues as appropriate. * Collaborates and coordinates status changes and pay adjustments with the appropriate team to ensure pay and benefits are appropriately managed before, during, and after leaves. * Coordinates and facilitates ergonomic evaluations with employees, management, and HR staff. * Creates, tracks, and manages all leave related documentation, notifications, correspondence, administrative details, and files. Ensures documentation is completed, processed, and filed in a timely manner and as required by company policy and applicable federal and state laws. * Performs other related duties as required or requested. * Adheres to all company, departmental and client policies, procedures and requirements. Maintains clearances and licenses as required for position based upon assignment. * Completes assigned training on time and with acceptable scores. Demonstrates understanding of training materials and applies knowledge in appropriate situations. Required Skills and Knowledge:•Advanced, applied knowledge of LOA, ADA and Worker's Compensation federal and state laws across multiple states including, but not limited to, California, Texas, Oregon and Florida. * Demonstrated proficiency using HR systems for tracking and administration of LOA, Worker's Compensation and Safety activity. * Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Ability to communicate, collaborate, and influence effectively with vendors, employees, management, and cross functionally. * Detail oriented with strong organization skills. * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. * Ability to act with confidence and achieve results.Ability to build credibility and trust. * Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with a professional attitude and exceptional organizational skills under pressure.•Ability to adapt quickly to change and demonstrate continuous process improvement. * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. * Ability to exercise good judgment and anticipate consequences by weighing multiple, sometimes conflicting, priorities * Strong customer service skills, demonstrated business partnership and team player abilities. * Demonstrated ability to produce results and maintain a positive attitude in fast paced, dynamic environments. * Ability to make good decisions and perform work independently to drive results given direction in the form of objectives. * Ability to work in a team environment where collaboration and the knowledge transfer process are critical for success. Education and Experience:•Significant experience, generally 5 years or more, of progressively complex experience in a Human Resources Leave Administration or similar position that includes using independent judgement in the administration of leave polices and procedures. * Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating a thorough understanding of leave of absence and worker's compensation policy and procedures. * PHR and/or CEB preferred. * Clearances as required by contract assignment.
