The Systems Administrator, Infrastructure role will work a hybrid schedule (T, W, TH in office) and is to be located in San Antonio, Scottsdale, Richmond, Omaha or Chicago.

The ideal candidate will serve as a Systems Administrator supporting various organization-wide infrastructure initiatives with limited oversight. This role will be responsible to consult, engineer, deliver technical solutions and achieve infrastructure objectives with a high emphasis on showing results and business value.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Create and maintain an on-premises cloud, software-defined data center infrastructure for both bare-metal and virtual machines with the appropriate SAN, network, or local storage configurations, using both OEM and third-party tools that include virtual storage tools and services.

• Automate and provision/configure all required resources for servers.

• Administer Windows Servers, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Office 365 environment.

• Support the operations and maintenance of the VMware virtual infrastructure, including, but not limited to, vCenter and the full vRealize Suite.

• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks, such as automated provisioning storage with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related field, OR equivalent combination of education and work experience.

• 5+ yrs IT industry expertise with enterprise in infrastructure solution development (physical computer, networking, storage, or Software-Defined Data Center concepts).

• VMware Certified Professional (VM Certified)

• 5+ Years of strong experience with Windows/Linux VM hosted on VMware ESXi.

• 5+ Years of experience with Windows Administration (Active Directory, domain replication, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, MECM/SCCM, Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019 and 2022)

• Understanding of storage (SAN\NAS) connectivity from VSphere, mounting LUNs

• Knowledge of Hardware (Server Cisco, Dell), Azure Stack HCI, VSAN, Kubernetes, Storage Arrays.

• Some scripting and automation techniques (PowerShell, Chef, Ansible, Terraform)

• Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016-2022

• Solid background in vendor management to drive incident resolution.

• Experience with monitoring tools and strategies.
