Systems Administrator II

3Ci is seeking a SharePoint System Administrator to deliver technical and customer support to our Client in the utilities sector. Their internally developed SharePoint-based system assists in managing project-related files and metadata for engineering projects. The role involves daily support for SharePoint and Office Online Server, addressing end-user requirements, resolving issues, and ensuring system operation. Collaboration within a team environment is essential for success in this role.

General Requirements

• Proficiency with SharePoint 2019 and Office Online server systems, including intranet development and server monitoring

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL Server database systems and computer systems support

• Familiarity with Active Directory, physical/virtual servers, and computer network concepts

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Customer-focused attitude with a desire to learn about the core business needs

• Proficiency in using basic office productivity tools (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc)

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently

• Interpersonal skills, self-starter mentality, flexibility, and team player attitude

Preferred Requirements

• Familiarity with SAML and Office 365 authentication methods

• Basic PowerShell programming skills

Essential Functions

• Provide technical support for the SharePoint application, including administration, troubleshooting, user account management, and server maintenance

• Administer and patch SharePoint 2019 and Office Online Server (OOS) installations

• Move authentication configuration from the internal partner domain to an external identity provider

• Support the conversion project and automate portions of site support and archiving

• Collaborate within a team environment, including a developer resource and a technical analyst

• Perform other tasks as required
