Responsibilities

A System Administrator II, typically has a range of responsibilities related to managing and maintaining an organization's computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure. Below is a list of common responsibilities for a System Administrator II:

Server Management:

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, both physical and virtual.

  • Monitor server performance and troubleshoot server issues.

  • Apply security patches and updates to servers regularly.

Network Administration:

  • Manage and configure network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

  • Set up and maintain VPN connections for remote access.

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.

User Account Management:
