Position Description

Responsible for level 1 triage and support to servers and systems related escalations. Assist with installing, setup, monitoring and maintaining servers and systems. Assist with performing routine technology support functions such as coordination, maintenance, upgrades, and overall support for computer systems. Assist with administering, evaluating, and modifying systems to assure proper security and operation, planning, coordinating, and implementing system software program release changes for enterprise servers.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Provide level 1 triage and support to servers.

• Monitor system performance and implement necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operations

• Provide technical support to end-users addressing hardware and software issues.

• Assist with server related projects, upgrades, maintenance, and documentation of systems

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Acceptable equivalent combination of education, experience, and certification; Associates or Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, or equivalent

• 0-3 years of experience with LAN technologies, including multiple network operating systems, topologies (Ethernet, Wireless) and protocols, and Wide Area Networking

• Knowledge and experience with PC hardware (A+ Certification a plus) and software technology as well as Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, Shared Drive Administration, Office 365, VMWare, Hyper-V, and PowerShell
