We are looking for experienced Systems Administrators to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. Required Education, Experience, & Skills We are looking for Systems Admininstrators to join our technology-based program supporting a key Government customer. A Bachelor's or Master's degrees are preferred with a minimum of three (3) years experience year's relevant experience.

The System Administrator will focus on day-to-day administration of two enterprise ServiceNow platforms. The platforms run in the customer's Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment and consists of Sandbox, Development, Integration, Test and Production environments.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor health and system performance, using built-in ServiceNow tools as well as AWS CloudWatch and Splunk dashboards

  • Troubleshoot reports of system slowness

  • Monitor incident queue and provide first-tier support to resolve platform issues

  • Verify that all integrations are completing successfully; coordinate with tenants/integration partners when errors occur

  • Review logs for errors and determine root cause; work with Project Manager to create stories in ServiceNow to address fixes for errors

  • Perform monthly system maintenance

  • Assist with quarterly clone backs

  • Serve as back-up Release Manager when the primary Release Manager is not available; this will require the candidate to work until at least 5:00pm to support the customer's release schedule

  • Work with the Engineering team on annual ServiceNow upgrades

  • Install new and upgrade existing ServiceNow plug-ins

  • Maintain PKI certificates and passwords

  • Maintain required monthly security scans and reports

Required skills

  • ServiceNow System Administrator experience

  • Working knowledge of Linux

  • Experience providing customer support and general IT knowledge

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with AWS EC2, RDS, CloudFormation, S3, CloudWatch, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, Subnets

  • Experience with Splunk

  • Experience with GitHub platform

  • Experience with Jenkins open source automation server

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $89650 - $152460

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
