Systems Administrator

Job Description:

• Administer on-premises Active Directory, DNS, certificates, licensing, and group

policy.

• Administer Azure Infrastructure Governance, Network Stack, Entra / PIM,

InTune, Sentinel SIEM, Resource Groups, and Virtual Networking.

• Research, test, and develop deployment plan for new patches, upgrades, or full

applications.

• Administer and maintain enterprise applications, which currently include but are

not limited to:

o Document management system

o Web-based applications

o Intranet

o Office productivity system - Microsoft 365, Google Workspace

• Work with other IT teams and end users to ensure effective configuration,

deployment, maintenance, and testing procedures of applications.

• Create and maintain network diagrams, data flow diagrams, and system

architecture.

• Work with vendors when necessary to troubleshoot issues.

• Assist in developing customized solutions where appropriate.

• Assist in other duties as assigned, relevant to the achievement of the position's

and team's objectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with scripting languages and automation tools.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Capable of learning large, complex systems in a short time frame.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record in

accordance with Fortis policy.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with system management and virtualization technologies.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
