As a Systems Administrator I you will have the opportunity to administer a wide variety of Internet technologies. This position will be responsible for ensuring the environment's reliability, availability, scalability, and performance using a variety of monitoring and command-line tools. In this role, you will be responsible for both customer-facing and internal assets. This position is expected to have a solid understanding of computer science and networking fundamentals and conscientious work habits.

  • Review and resolve escalated customer support tickets. Provide training, documentation, and guides to improve the ability to serve the customer.

  • Participate in large collaborative projects, including migration between and datacenters or major software upgrades or replacement and other projects as assigned

  • Take ownership of systems and network issues (as part of a team) and work with all relevant parties to determine a strategic approach to resolution. Participate in on-call rotation.

  • Take ownership of the hardware lifecycle. Including, at least, the provisioning, maintenance, hardware troubleshooting and eventual replacement of servers

  • Directly responsible for all in-office IT requirements: connectivity, desktops/laptops, servers (DNS, DHCP, File, and Phone servers), and phones.

Basic Qualifications:

Education and Experience: HS/GED and 2 years

  • 2+ years of experience in Administration in Linux to include Red Hat and/or Ubuntu
  • 2+ years of experience in server hardware maintenance to include hard drives, motherboards.
  • 1+ years of experience in virtualization to include 1 or more of the following to include KVM, Hyper-V, OpenVZ or VMware

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: High School

  • Certifications to include 1 or more of the following: MCSE, RHCE, RHCSA, A+, Net+ ...
  • 3+ years of experience in Administration in Linux to include Red Hat and/or Ubuntu
  • 3+ years of experience in server hardware maintenance to include hard drives, motherboards.
  • 2+ years of experience in virtualization to include 1 or more of the following to include KVM, Hyper-V, OpenVZ or VMware
  • 1+ year of experience in LAN/WAN Administration

Responsibilities will also include data mining and extraction, report building, and system maintenance. The Manager of Accounting Systems will act as the liaison between the finance team and the IT team, as well as assist in the IT portion of the financial statement and internal control audits.   The Manager of Accounting Systems will lead implementation projects as necessary.
