Description:The Darkwing Program System Administrator (SA) is responsible for the day to day operations of systems and hardware. This includes the installation of new servers and the ability to rebuild existing servers.
They also will configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, system back-ups, anti-virus updates, etc. in accordance with program requirements. This also includes related infrastructure requirements as necessary. The SA must be able to review system logs to identify potential problem areas and get them resolved before bigger problems arise.
The SA provides all operating system and anti-virus updates. Participate in technical research and development to support new work coming in and for hardware end of life replacement.
The SA will assist the engineering team with technical issues in the initiation and planning phases as new projects as they come in. These activities may include technical strategy, research & development and designing to a project life-cycle.
The SA will also support an on-call duty rotation for after hours support as needed. Some nights and weekend work may be involved. The SA will get certified on systems for support of Operations and maintain all certifications as required.
Site Training Requirements: Certification will be required for performance as a System Operator. COMSEC certification will be required.
Unique Training Requirements: MS Office applications.
Ability to Obtain Clearance Required
