OPS Consulting is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator 2 to work in Annapolis Junction, MD.Required Experience:

Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of information technology (IT) systems.
Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client, server, storage, network devices, mobile devices, etc…
Provide Tier 1 (Helpdesk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to management and end customer.
Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems while remaining involved in the resolution process.
Configure and manage Unix and Windows operation systems.
Install/ load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain, implement, and configure network operating systems to enhance and improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications:

Ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Administrator (SA).
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Security Clearance:

A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
