Responsibilities

Join our dynamic and diverse Peraton Technology Services Team on site, at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), as a Software Engineer reporting to the IT department supporting the Environmental Test and Integration Services program. You have the unique opportunity to be engaged in exciting space projects in the GSFC state-of-the-art facilities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide IT support for following software: Epicor, Mastercam, Polyworks, InspectionXpert, GrabCad, Ultimaker Cura, TNCremo, Vericut, Verisurf, Office 365, DAQSTANDARD

  • Document troubleshooting resolutions as well as New Software installations.

  • Effectively communicate with staff to resolve IT equipment issues and escalating/communication with vendors when the situation arises.

  • Coordinate with customer business units to provide solutions and improvements to current procedures and IT equipment used.

  • Have an understanding of Hololens2 AR device and PolyWorks integration.

  • Monitor and perform/assist with Security software update and patches to PCs and servers.

  • Maintain IT inventory and coordinating procurements and excess request with staff and contractors.

  • Assist with configuring network settings for Manufacturing and Inspection Equipment.

  • Perform Onboarding and Offboarding of staff by setting up and/or deleting IT access to Software, File shares, and computer access.

  • Facilitate trainings and access and well as setting up equipment in the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Lab (3D printing)

  • Maintain and support the AMB Conference Room, providing user support and making repairs/upgrades.

  • Be able to support the customer Epicor operations by

  • Coordinate and communicate with customer business units to develop and update workflow procedures for software business use.

  • Conduct System access reviews and updating permissions and security settings for various roles of the Advanced Manufacturing Branch.

  • Coordinate with COMTEC vendor to review system access and develop training guides for newly granted permissions and screens/operations.

  • Assist staff members with troubleshooting issues with job entries and closures.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with two or more years of experience with IT Systems

  • Experience with Polyworks, Office 365, Mastercam software

  • Experience Software installations

  • Experience with working a team environment

  • Hololens2 AR device and PolyWorks integration

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
