System Administrator (SA) A System Administrator provides technical oversight, configurations and documentation of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) software systems. The SA will need to install and configure applications, perform maintenance, provide support to the end user and administration of various server and software assets. The SA is also responsible for managing our F5 appliance providing security and access management to multiple applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Business requirements analysis and project planning

  • Interfacing with project stakeholders and software development teams

  • Software installation, configuration and integration

  • Microsoft IIS administration

  • Certificate management administration

  • Enterprise level F5 BIG-IP administration

  • Design, implement and maintain F5 LTM, APM and ASM configurations

  • Good understanding of traffic flow on internal LAN, firewall and WAN

  • Technical knowledge of TCP/IP and troubleshooting

  • Configuration management and documentation

  • RMF knowledge

  • STIG's

BS degree in a computer or system science discipline from an accredited college or university and five (5) years to eight (8) years of progressive, relevant experience, or

any equivalent combination of education, experience, training and certifications.

Required Certifications:

  • IAT level II (Security )
  • Microsoft MCST cert (US Army required)

Secret Clearance Required.

With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. Dynetics is currently looking for a candidate who can professionally represent the company in a government laboratory on Redstone Arsenal that will be responsible for implementing and evaluating human factors usability studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, implementation, troubleshooting, and day-to-day operation of fixed and mobile lab assets that will be utilized to capture and quantify data used to assess the usability of a variety of products and systems. The Systems Administrator will ensure that the lab facilities, hardware, and software are up to date and operating properly, and will coordinate with contractor and government personnel and Army Mission Support as needed to address potential issues and resolve problems. IND3 Basic Qualifications Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline with at least 2 years of applicable experience OR have at least 8 years of applicable experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree. The successful candidate should have an extensive background in computer networking, IT systems configuration, network management, virtualization, router configuration, and network security. Network troubleshooting skills and familiarity with security compliance regulations are also required. The ability to work independently and self-direct time and effort is essential, and excellent documentation and organizational skills are required. Extensive knowledge of Linux and Windows systems is required, and the ability to understand, administer, and maintain the network's cybersecurity posture is critical. This position may require up to 25% travel to locations across the United States. Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville / North Alabama area. Other Qualifications Security+ and Linux+ certifications are highly desired. Previous experience in code development is a plus. Some logistics experience arranging transport and detailing standard operating procedures is a plus. Interest in or previous experience in the design and conduct of human factors or usability studies is a plus.
