To support our satellite business, we are creating cloud-based platforms to implement the current needs of the business, while enabling us to quickly add capabilities that delight our customers. A key component to this plan is complete automation of our test suites. To enable that automation, our test team needs to understand the operation of the complete system and have the ability to do complex software in our cloud-based solution. We work with the system architects to understand and enhance the operation, the developers to support their coding, and the businesses to ensure that we support all the capability they need. Requirements

  • 7+ years of related experience.

  • Ability to problem solve independently.

  • Integration and test experience.

  • Experience developing performance/stress test suites for multi-component system spanning embedded systems, SQL/NoSQL databases, HA back office servers.

  • Experience with test frameworks such as Robot -- creating new libraries, adding new keywords & tests.

  • Experience writing custom wrappers around automation framework implementations for error handling, logging & reporting.

  • Scripting or automation experience with message queuing technologies such as RMQ or Kafka.

  • Experience with test plan development based on ICDs, and/or high level requirement or specification documents.

  • Experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, UDP and troubleshooting network connectivity issues.

  • Sys-Admin level Unix/Linux proficiency

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

Preferences

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

  • Experience with Python.

  • Experience with cloud automation.

  • Experience with APIs.
