What You Will Accomplish:

  • As a senior member of the System Test team, you will help define, design and implement tools and solutions that will exercise and verify end-to-end capabilities of Illumio products

  • You will design and develop modular and scalable artifacts to automate modeled data setups and workflows

  • You will improve current framework capabilities to extend test coverage and for the inclusion of new technologies

  • You will help define various metrics to assert proper functioning of product features in an integrated fashion and write tools to collect the data and generate reports.

  • You will work with technologies like Ruby, Redis, InfluxDB, Postgres, AWS SDK, VMware, Kubernetes/Docker, OpenShift, F5 and host firewall technologies (IPTables and WFP)

  • You will gain thorough understanding of Illumio's product features and their business usage, and use this knowledge for effective test design and development

  • You will develop and extend tools to set up environments and workflows that simulate customer ecosystems

  • You will work closely with multiple product verticals within Engineering and cross-functional teams across Illumio including field personnel

What You Bring:

  • 7-10 years' experience in test automation of enterprise systems involving complex configurations

  • Deep understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts

  • Strong proficiency of at least one OOP language (Ruby / Python)

  • Prior experience in a System / Scale / Performance testing role

  • Advanced knowledge of Linux/Windows based systems and tools

  • Strong database fundamentals

  • Ability to model test configurations by analyzing software systems, business applications and their communication patterns

  • Understanding of Distributed Systems and RESTful APIs

Raytheon Applied Signal Technology (RAST) Broadband Communications Systems Division (BCS) seeks a Senior Principal SEIT who will be a member of a systems engineering team responsible for development, integration, test, and deployment of systems in the Optical Transport Network domain. This systems engineer will collaborate with customers, RAST senior leadership, other systems engineers and software/hardware/FPGA engineers to develop new systems and Concepts of Operations as well as troubleshoot, enhance and maintain existing systems.
