PURPOSE:

The System Support Supervisor is a key member of the IT Department, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all computer systems within the Distribution Center. This role requires a highly organized, flexible, and dynamic individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

SCHEDULE: MONDAY-FRIDAY 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM On-Call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support, ensuring system reliability around the clock.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• On-Call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support, ensuring system reliability around the clock.

• Manhattan Warehouse System: Apply expert knowledge of the Manhattan Warehouse System to support warehouse operations and resolve related issues.

• Multitasking: Demonstrate the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.

• Customer Service: Exhibit excellent customer service skills, addressing the needs of users with professionalism and courtesy.

• Continuous Learning: Show a commitment to continuous learning, staying up-to-date with new hardware technologies.

• Technical Support: Provide comprehensive support for PCs, phones, printers, and servers across the organization.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Information Technology degree or equivalent required.

• Strong computer skills with the ability to work with multiple screens on several computer monitors simultaneously.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Proven experience with the Manhattan Warehouse System or similar platforms.

• Strong multitasking abilities and track record of delivering excellent customer service.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new hardware and technologies.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:

• Work is primarily conducted in a temperature-controlled office environment.

• Regularly navigate the Distribution Center warehouse floor, with exposure to potential hazards from machinery and vehicles.

• Operate in noisy and fast-paced conditions, with temperature variations including freezer areas.

• Incumbent should be able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
