System Requirements Development - APU Design Authority

JOB TITLE: APU Design Authority System Requirements DevelopmentREMOTE WORK OPTIONS AVAILABLE!ABOUT THE JOB:This position is responsible for development of System Requirements for an Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) in accordance with Design Authority (DA) processes.  Desired individuals are highly process-oriented with a background in a system safety regulated environment.REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related Engineering field
• Understanding of the system development lifecycle
• System Certification experience in accordance with ARP-4754A and DO-178; Design Authority (DA) regulations understanding is a plus
• Experience in Aerospace Systems Requirements Development 
• Aerospace Control Product experience (including APU, ECU, Flight Controls, FMS, etc.)
• Experience in decomposition and tracing of System Requirements
• Familiar with System Safety regulations and experience evaluating System Requirements from a System Safety perspective
• Experience in System Verification and Validation
• Experience and proficiency using DOORS, Microsoft Excel, and ClearQuest; experience using Aspire a plus

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Active participation experience in FAA SOI Audits
